Lenovo has appointed Simon Corbett as senior manager for customer financing across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) regions.
Prior to joining Lenovo, Corbett spent over 8 years at Siemens Financial Services in a variety of roles.
He began founding SFS’s UK captive finance arm, and after working in other parts of SFS with other responsibilities, returned to lead the captive arm in the UK.
Corbett also worked in leasing consultancy as a partner at Invigors, and has contributed to Leasing Life on topics such as green finance , collections and residual values.
With over 30 years’ experience in the financial service, Corbett has also worked at CIT as European programmes manager, and ran the UK&I business of Dell Financial Services and is a fellow of the Leasing Foundation.
The role, which became effective in February 2017, gave Corbett responsibility for customer finance at Lenovo, a programme providing funding for direct customers, and those buying via the channel.
