Trucks were down 42 percent compared to the
same period last year, while vans dropped 58 percent.

For the rolling year, the drop was 17 percent, combining a 1.5
increase from January in the truck sector, and a 20 percent
decrease in the van sector.
SMMT chief executive Paul Everitt said the CV business was
“coming under intense pressure” and needed help from the UK
government.
