HSBC Equipment Finance has signed
several four-year hire purchase agreements worth €273,000 with
Tonbridge-based T&T express deliveries. The deal involves
T&T, which has used HSBC equipment finance to make acquisition
arrangements in past, acquiring five HGV units.
“We played the field in terms of
finance companies,” said Brian Wilkins, of T&T, “and HSBC came
out at the top.”

Separate four-year agreements have
been made for each of the three Iveco vehicles chosen by T&T
from local dealer Stormont Truck & Van, as well as for a
Mercedes and a Daf unit purchased elsewhere.
The purchases, fronted by the enormous
Stralis Active Time tractor unit, will include the first Iveco
additions to T&T’s 15-strong CV fleet.
