Fleet lessor Arval has won a sole-supply
van fleet deal with Powerminster Gleeson Services Ltd.
Under the terms of the deal, Arval will supply Powerminster
Gleeson – which provides gas, heating, plumbing and estate
maintenance and repair services – with a fleet of over 80 vehicles
on a four-year, fully-maintained basis.
Based in Sheffield, Powerminster Gleeson had been an existing
fuel client with Arval for several years before awarding the lessor
the fleet contract, which was put out to tender towards the end of
2007.
Darrell Fox, finance director at Powerminster Gleeson Services,
said: “We saw Arval as the type of company that we are looking to
increase our partnering.”
