month he had successfully scaled Mount Kilimanjaro, the world’s
highest free-standing mountain, to raise money for the Royal
Marsden Hospital in London.

He said those wishing to match his feat should remember “on the
day of the final ascent, we had a further 4,700 feet to climb”.
