The car leasing market in Ukraine has
grown by 47% in the second half of 2008, according to research by
the analytical group AUTO-Consulting.
In H2 2008, the top automotive lessors in Ukraine were Ilta
Leasing, Euro-Leasing and ALD Automotive. Ukraine has over 60
leasing companies working in the automotive industry; although only
20 of them lease cars regularly.
In September, ALD International, a wholly-owned subsidiary of
Société Générale, bought out its joint venture partners in Russia
and Turkey, meaning it now owns the entirety of the Russian and
Turkish ALD-operations.
