Fleet management and leasing company ALD International has
bought out the 25 per cent stake in its ALD Automotive Russia
subsidiary, meaning it now owns the entirety of the Russian fleet
operator.
ALD International, a wholly-owned subsidiary of French banking
giant Société Générale, purchased the quarter-stake in ALD
Automotive Russia from former joint venture partner CIS Rental
& Leasing BV.

ALD Automotive Russia, headed up by Guillaume de Leobardy, is
the market leader in the country, managing a fleet of over 5,500
units.
The buyout of CIS’s stake continues a recent trend for ALD
International, which acquired the 49 per cent minority stake it did
not already own in its subsidiary ALD Automotive Turkey at the
beginning of September.
ALD Automotive Turkey now manages over 6,000 vehicles, and
recently appointed Cihan Diren to the post of CEO.
