Hugh Fitzpatrick,
previously the portfolio director for the mid market and corporate
teams within GE Commercial Finance has been promoted to chief
operating officer. He will have responsibility for the risk and
operations teams, and take ownership for all new client
underwriting, customer credit, audit and survey teams.

Darren Millard has been promoted to commercial
director. He joined the company in 1997 and has held a variety of
roles within the business finance operation, including portfolio
and audit manager, and also audit leader before being appointed as
portfolio director for the SME market in 2005.

CIT Group
CIT Group has announced the
appointments of Kris Snow and Terry
Kelleher as co-presidents of CIT Vendor Finance.
Snow previously worked as president of CIT Vendor Finance Americas,
while Kelleher was president of CIT Vendor Finance Europe &
Asia Pacific. Their combined territories include over 30 countries,
2,300 employees and around $17bn in managed assets.

Davenham Asset Finance
Stuart Berry has been appointed as small ticket
manager at Davenham Asset Finance with a remit to increase the
company’s market penetration in that sector. He joins the company
from Kingsway Finance, where he was responsible for introducing
brokers to the company.

Syscap
Syscap has appointed Julian Mellors as head of new
markets development with responsibility for diversifying the
company’s customer and asset types, business offerings and
geographical reach. He previously held the position of general
manager of the UK broker division at BNP Paribas Lease Group. For
over 10 years he has underwritten transactions for Syscap as one of
his main clients.

Northgate Vehicle Hire
Following its purchase of Hampsons Self Drive Hire Ltd, Northgate
Vehicle Hire (Northgate) has appointed Dean
Anderson managing director of the new acquisition.

Transition Computing
Dr Simon Peers has joined Transition Computing as
software development manager. At the same time Parthiv
Manikoth, Matthew Williams, Richard Wakeland and
Martin Langhorn have joined as developer, sales
executive, account manager and marketing coordinator
respectively.

HP Financial Services
Matthew Crabbe and Robert Partner
have joined HP Financial Services as financing area managers.
Previously they were with GSM Finance and Regent Asset Finance
respectively.

Dell Financial Services
Tim Hibbins-Butler has joined the Global Account
team at Dell Financial Services. He was formerly with BNP Paribas
Lease Group.

Ian Jackson has joined Smartfundit.com as business
development manager to develop its vendor business.

Key Equipment Finance
Key Equipment Finance has appointed Hugo
Jenneskens as sales manager for central Europe. Previously
he worked as a sales leader for GE Capital Equipment Finance in the
Netherlands.

CHG Meridian
Madeleine Knight has joined CHG Meridian as
funding manager. She previously worked at SG Equipment Finance as
an account manager responsible for managing key hi-tech vendor
relationships.

Microsoft Financing
Thomas Wirsing has joined Microsoft Financial as
EMEA sales manager for small and mid-market solutions and partners.
He was previously sales manager for central Europe with Key
Equipment Finance.
