UK law firm Shoosmiths is benefitting from a line-up of new
leasing clients it inherited when it recently hired a team of
finance lawyers from rival outfit BPE.
ING Lease, BNP Paribas Lease Group, Caterpillar Financial
Services, Close Asset Finance, and Private & Commercial Finance
have all joined Jo Davis and her team of finance lawyers when they
jumped ship to Shoosmiths earlier this month.

Davis, who was instrumental in building up BPE’s banking and
finance team, is now in charge of Shoosmiths’ new Birmingham-based
banking and finance team.
Former BPE associates Daksha Mistry and Natalie Evans have also
joined Shoosmiths, as well as litigation case handler Stephanie
Sandford.
