ZAO AR Carton received over nine million RUR (€197,000) from
IJSC Ingosstrakh as insurance indemnity after a section of Rapida,
a sheet-fed offset press, broke down after the press operator made
an error.
In order to determine if the error was covered by the insurance
contract, Ingosstrakh hired an expert from ZAO R&D Institute of
Polygraph Machinery to determine the root cause of the breakdown,
which was deemed to be covered by the contract. The press was later
fixed by a repairman from the press’s manufacturer, KBA.

In 2005, Ingosstrakh co-signed the insurance contract with the
leasing company in 2005, along with ZAO AR Carton which leased
Rapida, a press worth over 71 million RUR (€2m) from ZAO Deutsch
Leasing Vostok for five years. The policy covers a wide range of
possibilities such as fire and theft, and covers the whole term of
the lease.
