Nordic IT company TietoEnator, which supplies software to the
leasing industry, has reported an 8 per cent growth in sales for
the first six months of 2008, and announced plans to expand in
Russia.
Sales for the period totalled €948m, against €876m the year
before, while operating profit amounted to €70.9m, against €47.6m
in 2007. Hannu Syrjala, TietoEnator’s president and chief executive
officer, said he plans for TietoEnator to become “the leading IT
service company in northern Europe with a significant presence in
Russia”.
