Sunderland-based construction and housing amenities firm, Gentoo
Group, has awarded a contract to supply vans to Daimler Fleet
Management. The vehicles will be provided on a contract hire basis,
with maintenance. The total final value of the contract was £3.3m.
In all, 19 fleet providers submitted tenders for the contract, with
the deal awarded on the basis of cost (60 per cent weighting) and
technical/quality/environment (40 per cent).
