CV registrations in the UK declined by another 42 percent in
March, industry figures have shown.
The Society for Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) said that
truck registrations were 37 percent down for the month, while vans
fell by almost 43 percent.

For the rolling year, trucks were 6 percent down and vans 27
percent down.
SMMT’s CEO Paul Everitt commented: “UK demand for vans and
trucks remains low […] and we think registrations may drop
further.
“It will take time before the Chancellor’s financial stimulus
policies work, so we need the government to do more to stabilise
markets and give firms and households the confidence to buy.”
