UK vehicle lessor Lex has introduced a specialised “OneCall
commercial team” to reduce downtime for its commercial vehicle
customers.

The company, which is part of the Lloyds Banking Group, already
had in place a OneCall general service, but has now created a
dedicated team to provide a specialist service to its light
commercial vehicle customers.

Lex said that as soon as it is advised that a vehicle is off the
road, the OneCall commercial team will manage the downtime and keep
the customer updated throughout.

It added that services include out-of-hour maintenance,
replacement vehicles, and 24-hour breakdown assistance.

The team has a number of CV advisors as well as technical
support coordinators.
