Lithuania’s factoring turnover dropped almost 38 percent in the
first half of 2009 to LTL3.42 billion (€991 million), it has been
reported.
The figures, published by the Lithuanian Banks’ Association,
also showed that the total factoring portfolio was down 28.5
percent.

The country’s top factoring companies were Swedbank Lizingas,
part of the Swedbank Group – which reported a 47.5 percent drop in
turnover – and SEB Bank, which was down 44.2 percent
year-on-year.
