Schmitz Cargobull has won an order from Kent-based haulier MJD
Services for 20 new Freepost curtain side trailers.
Finance for MJD’s new fleet is being provided by Cargobull
Finance, a joint venture between Schmitz Cargobull and Dutch lessor
De Lage Landen (DLL).

The haulier will operate the trailers on behalf of a soft drink
manufacturer, to deliver to retailers soft drinks across southern
England as well as into Belgium and Holland.
The trailers are four metres high so that they can safely use
the Blackwall Tunnel under the Thames in east London and meet
mainland height restrictions.
MJD has around 100 trailers on the soft drinks contract and is
to replace the entire fleet with Schmitz Cargobull Freeposts over
the next three years.
All the new trailers will be financed by Cargobull Finance.
