The American Equipment Leasing and Finance Association (ELFA)
has appointed a new chairman and board of directors.
The board, which will serve during the next 12 months, will be
chaired by Kenneth R. Collins, the CEO of Susquehanna Commercial
Finance.

“We are extremely pleased to have Ken Collins to chair the
Association as our industry continues to navigate through tenuous
market conditions,” ELFA interim president Ralph Petta said.
“Association members and the industry at large will benefit from
his leadership as well as that of the entire board of directors and
officers,” he added.
Collins has over 24 years of experience in the equipment
finance, having worked with First Valley Leasing, Susquehanna
Commercial Finance and ATandT Capital Corp’s leasing division.
The new chairman-elect is David A. Merrill, Fifth Third Leasing
Company’s president.
