Lease software provider Cassiopae and OXIA
Tunisia, a North African consulting services group, have launched a
joint venture for the Africa and Middle East markets.

The new venture, Cassiopae MEA, will be led by
Jemil Ben Romdhane, who joined Cassiopae in 2007 and has been
responsible for the development of Cassiopae’s latest version of
its front office product.

The joint venture will focus on the
development, sales and support of new products for the region.

Cassiopae’s president Emmanuel Gillet said:
“This investment in Tunisia is a continuation of our business
development strategy for the Africa and the Middle East regions.
Cassiopae MEA enables us to accelerate our deployment and grow
Cassiopae’s presence in these fast-growing markets.”

The company said that several deployment
projects are already planned, including implementation within a
bank for SME financing in Tunis.
