The Finance & Leasing
Association (FLA) is due to announce later today or tomorrow
the new members of its main board, Leasing Life has
learnt.

Richard Priestman is
expected to step down from the board on June 21, as well as from
Lombard at which he has been a senior director in its corporate arm
for several years.

George Lynn, who has been
chief financial officer of Angel Trains since 1994, is understood
to be joining the FLA’s board in several weeks.

Other changes at the
board are also due to be announced in the statement.

The move by the
association follows the arrival of Chris
Sutton
, the head of Black Horse Consumer and Motor Finance, as
chairman of the FLA. He replaced David Betteley who had been
chairman for three years.
