Italy’s leasing giant Leasint has just won a significant
renewable energy deal with Enel Green Power, part of Italian energy
provider Enel Group.
The overall investment will be of €119m for two wind farms in
Calabria, in southern Italy. The contract length is 216 months.
Each wind farm will have a power of 56,8 MW – enough for the
energy needs of 60,000 households.
Leasint, which is par of Intesa Sanpaolo banking group, has
developed a dedicated product for renwable energy leasing, called
Leasenergy.
Last month, Intesa Sanpaolo and the European Investment Bank
(EIB) agreed a funding line of €680m aimed at renewable energy
projects of small and medium-sized enterprises.
