Local authority fleet vehicle provider
TransLinc has won a contract hire and maintenance agreement with
Lincolnshire Council’s highway division to supply 53 vehicles.
The agreement is for 49 Mitsubishi Canter box
vans and tippers and four Mercedes-Benz Axor tippers – which will
be used for essential day-to-day maintenance work, including
repairing roads, dropped kerbs, potholes, removing fallen trees and
clearing up after accidents and emergencies.

For the contract, TransLinc teamed up with
infrastructure support services company May Gurney.
Mark Werrell, TansLinc director of Midlands
operations, said: “The relationship with May Gurney is a new
venture for us, although we have been in talks with them for at
least two years. It is a partnership with a bright
future.”
