International independent IT lessor CSI Leasing has expanded its
Asian presence with the acquisition of two Fortis Lease businesses
in Malaysia and Singapore.
Fortis Lease Malaysia and Fortis Lease Singapore will become CSI
Leasing (Singapore) and CSI Leasing Malaysia. Nine employees from
Fortis Lease Malaysia will be added to the team, including general
manager Caroline Soon.

Senior vice president and regional manager for Asia Pacific Tom
Brown will move to Singapore to manage the new subsidiaries.
The company now has a presence in about 36 countries around the
world, with $1.2bn in leased assets and more than 690
employees.
Financial terms for its latest acquisitions have not been
revealed.
