BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions (LS) has signed
a vendor agreement with business software supplier Sage.

The leasing arm of the French bank and the
UK-based systems company have signed a European Framework Agreement
in which BNP Paribas LS will offer total cost of ownership (TCO)
rental options for Sage’s X3 ERP (enterprise resource planning)

The TCO deals will cover the software, which
is designed for medium-sized firms, and also associated service
costs as well as the acquisition of hardware if necessary.

BNP Paribas LS’s financing packages will be
also aimed at medium-sized companies to compliment Sage’s system
and contracts will start when the software is operational. The
contracts will then be adjustable over the life of the deal to
allow customers to receive upgrades or add new hardware and
services.

BNP Paribas LS signed local financing
agreements with Sage in France in 2009 and in Italy, Portugal and
Spain in the second half of 2011 and have already signed around 50
financing contracts.

Sage has an existing finance agreement in the
UK with Syscap. A spokesperson for BNP Paribas LS said operational
details of their deal in the UK had yet to be confirmed.
