UK bank Aldermore has appointed Neil Kindness
as associate director of structured finance, to be responsible for
deals in both London and Scotland.
Kindness joins Simon Maddocks and Peter
Raybould in the structured finance team, currently led by Ian
Flaxman. The team will be developing structured finance deals for
UK SMEs with borrowing requirements between £2m and £12.5m.

Prior to his appointment, Kindness worked as a
regional sales director at Close Invoice Finance where he
established Close’s Scottish presence. Kindness also developed his
career in financial services as a director at Landsbanki, GE
Capital and GMAC commercial finance.
Kindness said: “Aldermore’s structured finance
team is a very exciting concept; mid-sized firms have been crying
out for a bank that will consider their business as a total
proposition, rather than focussing on just one element of their
