The second Annual Convention of the Russian Leasing Industry
will be held on the 28th of May with the aim of defining
the direction of the growing leasing market’s development.

Organised and run by trade body the United
Leasing Association of Russia (ULA), the St. Petersburg event is
designed to take the pulse of the Russian leasing industry and help
shape ULA policy for the year ahead.

The day-long event will include presentations
and round-table discussions, in Russian and English, on the impact
of the global economy on Russian leasing, the effect of domestic
legislative changes and role leasing can play in developing the
industrial potential of Russia as well as other issues.

Speakers include, Kirill Tsarev, ULA president
and deputy director of Sberbank Leasing, Pavel Samiyev, deputy
general director of Expert RA rating agency, the ULA’s research
partner, Jean-Marc Mignerey, strategic advisor with Société
Générale Equipment Finance, Alan Leesmith,  International
Director of IAA-Advisory and several others.

The event, held at the Renaissance St.
Petersburg Baltic Hotel, will be followed by a dinner cruise for
guests along the Neva River.
