Dutch lessor De Lage Landen (DLL) has appointed Carlo van Kemenade as managing director for the Americas Region.

Van Kemenade, will start his role which includes a seat on DLL’s executive board in March, subject to approval by the Dutch central bank, and will be responsible for all of DLL’s six North and Latin American operations.

He has held various management positions since joining the company in 1990, most recently chief commercial officer and vice chairman of the Global Vendor Finance division.

DLL said in a statement that this appointment "enforces its objective to further optimise the connection between the company’s solutions and its global geographic spread."
