After 12 months of waiting, Aldermore Asset Finance finally got revenge on Bank of America Leasing – by beating the US bank’s UK arm in the second annual leasing industry pub quiz hosted by New Leaf Search.
In a reversal of the 2012 result, the team from Aldermore, led by George Ashworth, beat the Bank of America quizzers with an impressive score of 82.56%.

Hitachi Capital Business Finance took third place and Macquarie Equipment Finance and Societe Generale Equipment Finance made up the top five, in the hard-fought general knowledge competition held at The Counting House in the City of London on 13 June.
The team from HP Financial Services finished last and was awarded with an engraved wooden spoon while sharp minds of Aldermore took away a bottle of champagne each as well as the coveted Great British Pub Quiz trophy.
The event was attended by 60 guests from the UK leasing industry and Neel Amin, managing director of New Leaf Search, said the evening was a "tremendous success" and added the "fun alternative" to traditional networking events was now a fixture in the leasing calendar with the next event planned for June 2014.
