Asset finance consulting partnership Invigors EMEA has appointed Ian Robertson as principal of its asset management and lifecycle advisory practice Invigors Asset Management.
Robertson will head the newly created practice after over six years as global head of asset management at De Lage Landen, where he worked in the UK, France, Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands.

Before that he was responsible for portfolio management and market development within asset management across Europe and Asia for Siemens Financial Services, having previously held senior positions at CIT/Dell Financial Services, WR Grace and PA Consulting.
Robertson said: "Serious asset-based players recognise that the future will be determined by asset risk and asset-related service provision. There is a shortage of experienced asset management professionals in the market which is driving a requirement for broad-based asset management consulting advice."
