Vincenzo Scalzone has been named head of supplier sales at UK broker Shire Leasing.
Prior to taking up the role, Scalzone ran equipment finance provider CIT’s French business.

Head of supplier sales is a newly created position, and Scalzone explained the company’s strategy was to become the preferred finance partner for UK SMEs.
Mark Picken, managing director or Shire, praised Scalzone’s experience in developing vendor programmes and partnerships and said Shire’s strategy was to grow its own book "dramatically" over the coming years.
