DLL has formalised its executive board with the appointment of Rob van Zadelhof as chief commercial officer and Carlo van Kemenade as chief operational officer.

Although van Zadelhof was first recruited as chief commercial authority in 2014, the relevant regulatory authority (De Nederlandsche Bank) has only recently officially approved his appointment. Van Zadelhoff will lead the asset based finance provider’s commercial strategy across 36 countries. He previously held various roles at Rabobank.

"I have had lots of interactions with DLL in many countries over the past years, especially Central Europe, Asia and recently the Americas. I always admired the entrepreneurial spirit of the company, liked the people I met and enjoyed exploiting synergies between Rabobank and DLL," said van Zadelhoff.

As chief operational officer, Van Kemenade will focus on IT and operational excellence. He worked at DLL for 25 years, and has held various senior management positions within the company.

Bill Stephenson, chief executive officer since 2014, and Frans Overdijk, chief financial & risk officer since 2013, are the other members of the executive board.
