HH Asset Finance has appointed Ian Thomas to the position of account manager in Bristol.

Thomas will be responsible for expanding the company’s presence in the South West, by developing relationships with existing and potential customers.

Prior to this appointment, Thomas was a relationship director at Lombard for the past seven years, specialising in working with customers with turnover of over £10m. He previously held various positions at RoyScot Trust.

Matt Jones, head of asset finance at HH Asset Finance and previously director of asset finance at Lombard, said: "With a long history of managing customer relationships, Ian comes to Henry Howard Asset Finance highly recommended and with strong experience. He is already a valued member in the team and his clients will welcome his extensive expertise."

Last year, financial services private equity investor Cabot Square Capital invested £25m (€34.8m) in Henry Howard Finance (HHF), parent company of HH Asset Finance, in order to enable it to increase its provision of finance to SMEs.
