Imran Altaf has joined Barclays Asset &
Sales Finance as an asset manager. Previously he held the position
of senior equipment manager at Royal Bank of Scotland and GATX.
ATS EUROMASTER
Peter Fairlie has been appointed group sales
director at ATS Euromaster with responsibility for all aspects of
the company’s sales performance within the business to business
sector. He has 14 years experience in vehicle leasing and rental
within the commercial vehicle sector.
SYSCAP
Peter Middleton has been appointed executive
chairman of Syscap. He joins with a background of high profile
positions in the financial services sector. In the mid 1980s he
headed up banking operations at Midland Bank International. After a
five-year spell at the Thomas Cook Group where he was chief
executive officer (CEO), he took over as CEO of Lloyds of London.
In 1995 he took over as CEO of Salomon Brothers and in 2000 was
appointed transaction director for Nomura International.
EXPERIAN
Clare Morgan has joined Experian’s
Integrated Marketing division as client director. Prior to her
appointment she worked for Acxiom, most recently as an industry
sector leader where she led database marketing programmes for some
of the company’s largest client accounts.
GENERAL ELECTRIC
Olga Hartwell has been appointed vice president
and tax director of GE Commercial Finance and Aris
Kekedjian as president and chief executive officer for GE
Capital in the Middle East & Africa. Hartwell has been with GE
for over seven years. Prior to her current role she was senior
international tax counsel with GE’s corporate tax team. Kekedjian
has been with GE for 17 years. Prior to his current promotion he
was chief financial officer for GE Money in Europe, Middle East
& Africa. He has also held leadership roles in investor
relations, corporate treasury, corporate audit staff and business
development.
MORTON FRASER
Morton Fraser has appointed Maggie Moodie as a
partner in the litigation team. She joins from HBJ Gateley Wareing
where she was head of its litigation team for the last eight years.
The appointment comes some four weeks after Gordon
McKelvie joined the firm as a corporate partner from
Burness.
AQUILINE CAPITAL PARTNERS
Laird Boulden has been appointed as a senior
advisor at Aquiline Capital Partners, a private equity firm
investing in financial services. Boulden has over 25 years
experience in the commercial finance industry most recently serving
as president and chief executive officer at RBS Asset Finance.
Prior to joining RBS Asset Finance he was founder and president of
RBS Lombard where he was responsible for the consolidation and
integration of the US-based RBS Equipment Finance businesses.
SECTOR TREASURY
Phil Clarke has been appointed associate
director of Sector Treasury, part of the Capita Group. His job
involves managing and developing the company’s NHS Ambulance
Service Trust business. Clarke, who previously worked for the NHS,
joins Sector after 10 years operating his own consultancy
business.
ICENET
Raj Aher has joined icenet as a software
developer. He joins form the PA Group, a sports news provider, and
before that he was with 7 Global, a managed services
provider.
