FRONTLINE SOLUTIONS

Steve Heins has joined Frontline Solutions as
operations director. He joins with industry experience gained with
HSBC and GE Capital. FS director and founder Andy Shuter said that
Heins was an early contributor to the company’s success, especially
with the development of its DealTrak Broker system.

Davenham has formed a dedicated invoice finance unit to cater for
an increased demand from its broker and accountancy network.
Andrew Johnson and Christine
Greenhalgh
head the new team, with responsibilities for
sales and operations respectively.

Davenham Trade Finance’s sales director Clive Naylor said the unit,
which will offer factoring and invoice discounting products, aims
to lead the way on turnaround times and service standards by
providing an entrepreneurial approach to new business.

Davenham has also appointed Duncan Harris as a
business development manager for its asset finance division. Harris
joins the company from State Securities, where he spent the past 12
months climbing the ranks from trainee to sales manager. Having
built up a network of contacts in the broker market, he will now be
working with a dedicated asset team to promote Davenham across the
East and West Midlands.

LEX

Lex has announced that Mark Lovett has joined
the company as commercial vehicle director. He will be responsible
for growing Lex’s commercial vehicle business throughout the UK and
developing its sales and marketing strategy. He joins from Renault
UK where he was responsible for developing its light commercial
vehicle dealership programme.

Latterly, and immediately prior to joining Lex, Lovett spent 18
months with Renault’s Alliance partner Nissan Motor GB, where he
was responsible for the overall sales and marketing of its
commercial vehicle range of products.

THE ALTA GROUP

The Alta Group has announced its third chief executive
officer-level appointment in recent months

with the recruitment of Jeff Addison as a
principal in its Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
Addison was previously chief executive officer and managing
director at Siemens Financial Services until 2003 when he became an
international consultant for SFS GMBH where he provided experienced
guidance and input to a variety of projects.

Previously he was chairman of the Finance & Leasing
Association’s (FLA) Technology Group and was involved in creating
the still-current compliance-based FLA Code of Practice.

TIETOENATOR

TietoEnator has recruited Laurence Jones to the
role of senior consultant. He joins from the Target Group where he
was responsible for establishing the initial cost-benefit analysis
for clients and overseeing the bid-management process.

At the same time, Liam Howard has joined as
delivery services director. He was recruited from Odyssey where he
held the position of regional operations manager for Northern
Europe.

HANDELSBANKEN

Per-Olov Bergstrom has been appointed head of
corporate finance at Handelsbanken Capital Markets. He replaces
Joakim Rubin, who is leaving the company to become a partner of
CapMan, a private equity firm. Previously, Bergstrom held the
position of deputy head of corporate finance at the company.

KEY EQUIPMENT FINANCE

Ashok Sharma has joined Key Equipment Finance
as regional controller Europe. He was previously European financial
director at Harley-Davidson Financial Services Europe.

BNP PARIBAS LEASE GROUP

BNP Paribas Lease Group has appointed Joanne
Cowan
as collections manager. Prior to the appointment she
held a similar position at Close Asset Finance.

EXPERIAN

Experian has appointed Charlotte Hogg as
managing director, UK and Ireland. She will report to Experian UK
& EMEA CEO Victor Nichols. Prior to the appointment Hogg was an
executive of Discover Financial Services and ran the company’s UK
credit card business, Goldfish.

PROHIRE

Staffordshire-based Prohire plc, the independent commercial
vehicle contract hire and fleet management firm, has appointed
Andrew Morley as is its new sales and marketing
director.
Morley joins from trailer maker Schmitz Cargobull UK Ltd where he
was UK sales and marketing director for the past two-and-a-half
years..

ECF Group PLC

Garry Riddsdale has been appointed chief
executive of ECF Group PLC, the latest in a series of top-level
board appointments at the company, which comprises ECF Asset
Finance and ECF Property Finance. Riddsdale comes to ECF from Bank
of Scotland in Manchester, where he was director of leveraged
finance.
