Paragon Bank has provided a £47,000 asset finance deal to Blackpool-based waste removal business Job Logistics Ltd to fund two new waste tipping vans.

Established in 2012, Job Logistics Ltd specialises in waste removal, collection and grab hire. It has also expanded its capabilities to include landscape supply of materials such as aggregate, gravel and turf. The business operates across Blackpool and the wider Lancashire area.

Job Logistics’ owner Jamie Baguley applied for funding with Paragon Bank because he wanted to add to his fleet of six waste tipping vehicles to fulfil more orders and scale-up activity. Baguley said:

“With Blackpool being a busy seaside resort town, there is a lot of demand for waste collection and removal services, so we’ve had a busy few months with things starting to open up again.

“The two waste tipping vans have allowed us to fulfil some more orders and expand the landscape supply slide of the business. It’s meant we have been able to really step up activity and grow.

“This was my first time dealing with the team at Paragon and I found it a really straightforward process – Joe was knowledgeable about the sector and took the time to understand the needs of my business. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Paragon again.”

Joe Blanthorn, business development manager at Paragon Bank, said:

“We always take the time to understand our customers’ business model and future plans so that we can form a true partnership and support them in fulfilling their long-term vision for growth.

“It’s been fantastic to work with Jamie and to we look forward to building on this relationship in the future.”
