De Lage Landen has completed the purchase of CIT’s healthcare
leasing portfolio in the UK, incorporating all of CIT’s NHS
operating lease portfolio.
It is understood that the lease book, which includes clinical
equipment, has significantly grown De Lage Landen’s healthcare
portfolio in the UK.
De Lage Landen, which has been on the NHS’ national framework
agreement for operating leases since its inception, has been doing
significant business with the service since 2005.
Troubled lessor CIT is understood to have pulled out of
healthcare in February, putting its leases on sale soon
afterwards.

the next issue of Leasing Life (September issue).
